Your Right to Delete Your Data

At My Baby is Hero (operated by Ivorysoft), we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. This page explains the different ways you can delete your data and what happens when you do.

Option 1: Delete Your Account from the App

The fastest way to delete all your data is directly through the App:

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access the App or prefer to request deletion by email, send a request to:

Please include the following in your email so we can locate your account:

• The email address associated with your account
• Your name (if provided during registration)
• Any additional details to help us identify your account

We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation once the deletion is complete.

What Data Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

• Account information — email address, name, authentication data
• Child profiles — name, gender, birthday, hero type, story preferences
• Photos — all uploaded photos of your child
• Stories — all generated stories, chapters, and illustrations
• Subscription data — subscription history and story usage records
• App preferences — settings and personalization data

What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may not be immediately or fully deleted due to technical or legal requirements:

• Analytics data — Aggregated and anonymized analytics data previously collected by Amplitude, Google Analytics (Firebase), and Firebase Crashlytics may be retained by those providers according to their own retention policies. This data cannot be used to identify you after account deletion.
• Advertising data — Data previously shared with Meta (Facebook) and Apple Ads for advertising purposes is controlled by those platforms. You can manage this data directly through:
  • Meta: Facebook Privacy Settings
  • Apple: Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising
• Crash reports — Anonymized crash logs may be retained by Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days
• Legal obligations — We may retain certain data if required by law, legal proceedings, or to enforce our terms
• Payment records — Subscription payment history is managed by Apple and subject to Apple's data retention policies

Deleting Specific Data Without Closing Your Account

If you want to keep your account but remove specific data, you can do so within the App:

• Delete a child's profile: Settings > Manage Profiles > select profile > Delete
• Delete photos: Settings > Manage Profiles > select profile > remove photo
• Delete individual stories: Dashboard > swipe on a story > Delete

Cancel Your Subscription

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your App Store subscription. To avoid further charges, cancel your subscription before deleting your account:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. Tap your Apple ID at the top
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Find My Baby is Hero and tap Cancel Subscription

Timeframe

• In-app deletion: Processed immediately
• Email requests: Processed within 30 days
• Third-party data: Subject to each provider's retention and deletion timelines
